Thickening Sauces, Stews & Soups

Here's a quick tip!  When thickening sauces, stews, & soups, if the recipe calls for corn starch (which works as a fantastic thickener) never, never add the corn starch to warm liquid.  It will be a lumpy mess!  Instead, reserve a little broth, water, milk, depending on what you are making, and add it to the cold liquid.  Whisk, or shake well in a mason jar, then slowly add the cold mixture to the soup, ect., and stir until combined!

Just a little tip!  Hope you all are having a fabulous week!
